QA Graphics®’ alliance partner, Lynxspring, Inc., has made QA Graphics’ BAS Image Module even more accessible by including a pre-installed version of the Module in the new release of their JENEsys® ProBuilder software for Tridium’s NiagaraAX platform.
Lynxspring is a leading technology company that addresses building automation control requirements with a focus on interoperability. Using Tridium's web-based NiagaraAX software in an embedded platform, Lynxspring provides normalized interoperability with standard and open protocols, and many legacy systems. Lynxspring has released a new version of JENEsys® ProBuilder software, which is provided on their JENEsys® controllers for the Niagara AX platform. With this new release, QA Graphics’ BAS Image Module has been pre-installed on the software.
As an industry leader in the design of system graphics, QA Graphics developed the BAS Image Module in conjunction with their 3D Symbol Library to provide more appealing and realistic graphics than provided by default with the Niagara AX platform. The Module allows AX users to build their graphics, pull in the pre-built animations, and bind the points and animations. It can be opened though Niagara AX’s palette sidebar, similar to the existing graphics, where the user can drag and drop the symbols onto their canvas, making the process of assembling high-end graphics simpler and faster. With over 310 static and 95 animated graphics, the symbols can be used to create over 95% of all major mechanical systems. Key symbols include boilers, chillers, dampers, filters, piping, fans, cooling towers, generators, valves, ductwork, coils and more. Now, with the pre-configured Module available on Lynxspring’s ProBuilder software, Lynxspring Business Partners simply need to purchase an engineering license to access unlimited use of the graphics at their workstation. Standard licensing fees will apply when moving graphics from a workstation to JACE or supervisor devices.

QA Graphics is proud to announce the hiring of Matt Fiene. QA Graphics has experienced incredible growth over the last several years and continues to expand. Matt has been hired as the company’s newest account executive.
Matt will be responsible for maintaining and acquiring new business. He will focus on selling the company’s award-winning Energy Efficiency Education Dashboard®, 3D design and animation services, interactive content, other interactive design capabilities.
He earned his Bachelor’s of Science, with an emphasis in marketing, from Simpson College. Prior to joining QA Graphics, Matt worked for Wells Fargo for two years, as a mortgage loan underwriter, primarily underwriting FHA and conventional refinances. He also spent two years as an annuity representative for ING, licensed to service variable annuities for contract holders and financial advisors. QA Graphics is excited to welcome Matt to the team and anticipates continued growth with this new addition.

QA Graphics Collaborates with KB Nutrition Consulting to Aid in Nutritional Menu Labeling
QA Graphics, a Midwest interactive design company, has formed a relationship with KB Nutrition Consulting, a nutrition consulting firm, to further assist their clients when developing digital menu boards with nutritional menu labeling for use in restaurants, quick serve restaurants, convenience stores, grocery stores, retail outlets etc.
With the FDA’s impending menu labeling laws requiring restaurants to provide calorie information as well as other nutrition information on request, QA Graphics anticipates the increased use of digital menu boards to display this nutritional information. To facilitate a smooth transition for their clients, QA Graphics has formed an alliance with KB Nutrition Consulting. This collaboration will ensure that QA Graphics is familiar with the new menu labeling requirements and other trends relating to nutritional guidelines. In addition, KB Nutrition will serve as a resource for QA Graphics’ clients, available to help those that have not yet analyzed their menu’s nutritional values according to the menu labeling laws that will take effect later this year.

QA Graphics is proud to announce the expansion of their creative staff to include a remote location in Denver, Colorado.
QA Graphics has experienced incredible growth over the last several years. The company has grown to offer a comprehensive range of creative design services both nationwide and internationally, specializing in graphical user interfaces, interactive content, 3D design and animation and other creative solutions. To keep up with this rapid growth, the company has expanded their operations to include a full-time Flash developer on staff to work remotely from Denver, Colorado.
QA Graphics made the decision to expand their design team to include remote employees in order to meet their increasing customer base on the West coast. This position is in direct contact with the company’s headquarters in Ankeny, Iowa, on a daily basis to assist in the development of a variety of creative solutions.
The company is excited to have staff located both in the Midwest and West, and looks forward to future opportunities that may lead to additional remote working arrangements that will better fit their customer needs. Stephanie is a spring graduate of Iowa State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Architecture, with a minor in engineering. Prior to joining QA Graphics, she had worked as the bar manager for Olde Main Brewing Company in Ames since 2005. Stephanie is skilled in AutoCAD, and Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Flash. As a Graphic Outsourcing Specialist she will assist in the development of control system graphics for the company’s Johnson Controls, Inc. customer base, as well as drafting services.
