Congratulations to Eastern Mennonite University (EMU) on attaining the USGBC’s LEED “gold” certification for their Cedarwood residence hall. This is the first residence hall in Virginia to attain gold certification—one of 33 to achieve this coveted certification in the United States! QA Graphics is thrilled to have worked with Eastern Mennonite University to include an Energy Efficiency Education Dashboard in the commons area of the hall, providing students with real-time feedback on energy usage along with education on what makes their living space so sustainable. QA Graphics is excited to have our Energy Efficiency Education Dashboard on display at the World Food Prize’s new Norman Borlaug Hall of Laureates to provide education about the building’s sustainable renovations. The building, which is the restored century-old Des Moines Public Library, is open to the public as a museum to recognize great achievements in agriculture. The Grand Opening, open to all symposium attendees, took place Wednesday, Oct. 12 and a public open house will be held Saturday, Oct. 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 16 from noon to 4 p.m. Learn more about the World Food Prize Hall of Laureates.
The Technical Schools Guide has published the article “HVAC & 3D Technology” talking about our 3D Equipment Library and how providing graphics with such detail helps technicians more accurately reference equipment when they are monitoring a facility’s mechanical equipment. Read the article.
