Congrats Michael!

QA Graphics extends a big congratulations to their lead Flash developer, Michael Saathoff. He and his wife Kelly welcomed a baby boy to their family this weekend! Baby Weston Michael was born Saturday, weighing 5lbs 4oz and is 19.5 inches long. Congrats Michael and Kelly!

Let Your Building Lead the Way

The article Let Your Building Lead the Way” in Buildings magazine, highlights the trend utilizing interactive touchscreens in building lobbies to provide directories, maps, news and more. This is a more user friendly way for visitors to access information than the traditional plaque on the wall.  Buildings that are sustainable are also able to utilize such a building display to educate about LEED features, or show real-time building performance.

Google makes 20-year energy agreement with NextEra Energy, Iowa Power Fund

Google made a 20-year agreement with an Iowa based wind farm to provide energy that will power Google’s data centers. This is part of the Iowa Power Fund, a program launched by Iowa Governor Chet Culver. Learn more about Google’s efforts to reduce their carbon footprint.
