Contact:
(Ankeny, Iowa) QA Graphics, a graphic design firm specializing in environmental and building automation system design and animation, welcomes Joe Storr to the company as a graphic specialist. In this position, he is responsible for educating users on the company’s Energy Efficiency Education Dashboard as well as designing 3D graphics and animation services. Mr. Storr brings QA Graphics an ambitious and creative background in architecture and digital media. Prior to joining QA Graphics, he served as a Green Intern at Gensler, an architecture firm in Chicago, and before that as a graduate of Iowa State University where he focused in professional architecture and minored in digital media. While serving at Gensler, Mr. Storr became a LEED accredited professional. ”We are excited to welcome Joe to our team,” said Dan McCarty, president and founder of QA Graphics. “Not only are we thrilled to have his architectural knowledge, but his LEED AP credentials will be beneficial in educating customers on our Energy Efficiency Education Dashboard product. Joe understands green building practices and the LEED rating system, which is what the EEED demonstrates.” The EEED is an industry-leading GUI solution used to educate the public on a project’s energy efficiency, as it has the ability to easily acquire data from any building automation system and report it using a preconfigured gateway device. That data is connected to a browser making the GUI interactive when used with touch screen hardware. All together, the solutions make reporting the metrics of a building’s automation system easier to read and understand. About QA Graphics
