 Showcase Your School’s Green Efforts: Prize Details

Contest for Green SchoolsQA Graphics will award two individual schools with an Energy Efficiency Education Dashboard (EEED). One EEED will be awarded to the winning essay among entrants of kindergarten – fifth grade schools, and one will be awarded to the winning essay from sixth grade though 12th grade schools.

The approximate retail value of each awarded Energy Efficiency Education Dashboard equals $7,000. The awarded EEEDs will be equivalent to the basic EEED package that QA Graphics sells (see details below).  The awarded EEEDs will be provided to operate on the web, and can also be used on other technologies common to schools.

The awarded EEED package will include:

• Home page (home screen image is provided by school)
• Weather widget
• Editable content, photos and videos
• EEED is displayed online

Plus 5 choices from the options listed below:

• Green features (includes three descriptions)
• Educational demo (2D four-stage progression)
• LEED checklist
• Interactive quiz
• Environmental tips
• Leaderboard among campus/buildings/floors *

• Local transportation information

*This award is subject to the size of  the school building (s) and assets provided. 

The schools will have control to easily edit the content, photos and videos used (all content, graphics, videos etc., are provided by the school).

The ability to display live building data is not included in the giveaway. A variety of additional features may be added for a fee, allowing the solution to be used for all of the school's display needs, including live and historical utility data. The EEED can also operate on touch screen which can be displayed in the school’s lobby or other locations. These display solutions are sold separately.
