QA Graphics, a leading provider of design services for the building automation industry, has added more than 30 3D HVAC Images to their 3D Equipment Library. The library offers a variety of high-end 3D graphics that can be used to develop system graphics that more accurately represent the mechanical equipment in place at a facility.
The 3D Equipment Library provides realistic representations of equipment from product lines including York, Carrier, Trane, McQuay, Liebert, Ingersoll, Baltimore Aircoil Company, Buderus, Cleaver Brooks, Murray and AAON. The more than 30 graphic additions include chillers, air handling units, boilers, electrical pieces, generators, roof top units, a pump and sensors. The collection of graphics now includes over 70 3D images of HVAC equipment. Users can maintain their existing BAS software and use the 3D images to create system graphics that realistically represent the equipment in place.
QA Graphics 3D Design Included in Intel Video
Our client, Daikin Applied, the world’s largest air conditioning, heating, ventilating and refrigeration company, has a video on Intel’s YouTube Channel, “Daikin Applied Harnessing Power of the Internet of Things”. The video discusses how Daikin Applied is connecting its existing Rebel rooftop units and deliver data to the cloud with the help of Intel, Wind River and McAfee.
We are pleased to see our 3D and UI design work completed for Daikin Applied shown throughout portions of the video.

QA Graphics, leading provider of design services for the building automation industry, has provided 3D floor plan graphics for WattStopper, a Legrand group brand and leading manufacturer of energy efficient lighting controls for commercial and residential use.
WattStopper looked to QA Graphics to develop 3D floor plan graphics for a web based lighting controls server that allows them to track lighting power usage and occupancy down to the room level. The WattStopper DLM system allows individual room control with out-of-the box code compliance and power monitoring of lighting and plug loads.
“The benefits of the enhanced floor plan graphics are very evident from a presentation standpoint,” said Craig Payne, project manager, WattStopper. “There really is no comparison to the low resolution, 2D graphics that are generally used for such projects. You can try to improve on every other aspect of a dashboard or graphic page, but if you don’t use the enhanced graphic, it still ends up looking outdated and doesn’t usually impress the client.”
QA Graphics initially worked with WattStopper to develop a single floor plan graphic as part of a demonstration that was being presented to their client. Once that was approved, they went ahead and completed all of the remaining floor plans.

QA Graphics is pleased to share that with the increased demand for 3D graphic and animation services, the company has expanded its onsite rendering farm.
This addition to the onsite rendering farm allows the 3D design team to do more as there continues to be increased interest in 3D graphic and animation services. With this addition, QA Graphics has the ability to power render high-end 3D graphics and animated projects twice as fast. The benefit of expanding this in-house render farm is that all of QA Graphics’ 3D design services are done internally. There is no fee to send projects out to a render farm.
